About Us

For over 30 years, Terren Landscapes has been on a quest to design, build, and maintain beautiful landscapes across the Main Line.

Originally a small family business started by Jim and John McCaughey, Terren now encompasses a host of passionate landscape professionals, each bringing an impressive set of skills and a dedication to landscape design and horticulture.

Over time, Terren has received a number of accolades for its landscape design and build projects, including six Pennsylvania Landscape & Nursery Association Awards and a host of sustainability recognitions, such as the “Go for the Green” award from Lower Merion Township in 2012.

Likewise, outstanding rain garden and drainage solution projects for Bryn Mawr and Gladwyne residents have been particularly heralded in recent years. You can find them and other facets of our business mentioned each year in publications like Mainline Today, BizJournal, Birds and Blooms Magazine, and more.

Despite this success, we’ve always maintained a commitment to hard work and responsible business practices, which we believe are the keys to making it in the industry. Most importantly, our commitment to the relationships we’ve built over the years continues to be the driving force in both your satisfaction and ours, which is ultimately all we could ever hope to achieve.
